My poor buddy past away...Very sad!Well, I had my Bullmastiff for 5 years, since he was a puppy. He passed away this past weekend from, I am guessing, a heart attack. My daughhter found him on the side yard laying on his side and cold. Vey sad, but did not expect him to go so soon. He was 5 years old and in very good health. Well, at least I thought so. I thought I had at least a few more years with him. Since their average life span is around 8 years. I didn't have an atopsy, but I am guessing his heart failed. RIP Magnum, we will miss you dearly!! |

Re: My poor buddy past away...Very sad! I'm very sorry for your loss.  I lost my best friend Hooch a year & a half ago, & it still hurts. They're at the rainbow bridge waiting for us though, & we will see them again someday.  ---------------------------------------- To our gone, but not forgotten pups, Posha, Tinker, & Hooch. Re: My poor buddy past away...Very sad! Im so sorry to hear about you losing your baby!! If I ever lost my Magnum (good name choice by the way  ) I don't know what I would do - she is my first dog so I've never had to experience losing one --- and I wish I never had to either!! |

Re: My poor buddy past away...Very sad! Thank you all. Yes, it is very hard. Every time I go outside I miss his big block head smiling at me. Or, his drool on my leg. Its funny how much you miss those things that annoy you while they were still alive. I would give anything to feel him bump up against me and drool on my leg. Plus, I was out of town when this happend so I never got to really say goodbye. Rainbow bridge again my friend! |

Re: My poor buddy past away...Very sad! I lost my American Staffordshire on March 28, 2005. She choked on something and there was nothing I could do, but I was able to be with her and let her know I loved her. It is kind of a mixed blessing though because even though I was there...I have that terrible picture in my mind of her face as she was dying. Wish I didn't. She was 5 years old too and we loved her very much and I am missing her terribly every day. I never realized how much she meant to me  . We loved you Nikki Nik. |
