Re: How did you choose your dog's name? Satchmo was named after the great Louis Armstrong, of course! I saw a documentary on Armstrong and how his nickname was 'satchel mouth' when he was a kid. They shortened it to Satchmo, and Louis loved it. He had a fantastic sense of humor. My pup just reminded me of the nickname, with his big droopy mouth and playful attitude. So Satchmo it was. We cut Satchmo down to Satch or Momo.  ----------------------------------------  |
